Refund policy

Return within 14-days
We have a "No reason or explanation needed" 14-days return policy.
Meaning our customers always have 14 days (from upon receiving the item(s)) to request a return. 
Shipping costs for the return package are to be paid by the customer, and no money is refunded until we have received and inspected the returned item(s).
The sender (the buyer) bears all risks of the return shipment.

Return within 3-months
We also have a "Mistakes were made" 3-months return policy.
Meaning our customers always have 3-months from upon receiving the item(s) to request a return, if it's because we (the seller) made a mistake (for example the item may not be considered original World War 2-era, wrong description etc).
Shipping costs for the return package are to be paid by us (the seller), and no money is refunded until we have received and inspected the returned item(s). 
The sender (the buyer) bears all risks of the return shipment. 
To use the 3-months return policy, we need documentation for our mistake, otherwise the 5-months return policy and conditions apply. (Statements from others doesn't count as "documentation"!)

Conditions for returns 
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it in, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the invoice or other proof of purchase and payment. 

To request a return, contact us using contact@chdjurhuus.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll provide you with instructions and details for the shipment.
Items returned to us, without first requesting a return, will not be accepted.

Damaged goods and other issues with the shipment
Please inspect your order within 2 hours from upon receiving the item(s), and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right fast.

If a claim is not made within 2 hours, including full documentation (pictures, notes, etc.), from upon receiving the item(s), no refund will be made for damaged goods!

Damage due to the buyers local police, national border inspections etc is not covered! 

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we can't accept returns on "sale"/discounted items ("make an offer"-option not included) or gift cards, unless it's within 14-days, or due to damages and/or issues during shipping (as stated above).


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return shipment, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded using your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

The shipping cost initially payed when ordering, will not be refunded.
